Charlie finally figured out the crawling thing the day before she turned 10 months. I think she was more excited about being able to get into everything rather than being able to get around. She would go through various containers, shelves and drawers, pulling out all of their contents. We were surprised that she crawled on all fours, since Ella, Lainey, and Brooke, did the monkey scoot. She also figured out how to go from laying on her belly to sitting up on her own.
Besides crawling, the other most exciting thing Charlie did this month was take a transcontinental flight to California. We took a night flight on the way there, so (thankfully) she slept the entire way. On the way back, she was asleep for about half the trip, and super fidgety for the other half. Overall, she did great on the trip and took in all the sights of California...the Golden Gate Bridge, the Pacific Ocean, and Fisherman's Wharf. She even got a short tour of Napa.
This month Charlie would sleep until 7:30, have a bottle, play, eat solids, take a nap and repeat this again in the afternoon. Quite the life our sweet girl had!
