Charlie turns 5 months tomorrow and she spent most of the last month attempting to suck on her toes. Ella was so amazed at Charlie's abilities that I caught her trying to get her feet in her mouth one day - yuck! One of the most wonderful things about this month was that Charlie started laughing - one of the sweetest sounds ever! She always woke up smiling and so excited to see everyone, especially Kris and Ella. She did okay with sleeping during the day - usually 3 naps of varying length - but usually slept through the night 7p-7a. We dropped the dreamfeed, and sometimes she even managed to sleep w/o the swaddle blanket. We also started solids this month - Charlie hated it! She cried the first two weeks whenever we tried to feed her rice cereal. After that she made no fuss, instead she would push the food back out as quick as we put it in. Kris took her to the Dr. for her 4 month checkup. She weighed 14lbs and 2 oz. (50th percentile) and was 26 inches tall (90th percentile). Between her height and lack of interest in food, I guess we have the makings of our own little supermodel!
